Project: “Determination of Maximum Acceptable Weight of Lift under Constrained Environment” 2015 – Present
Performed review of Literature on Maximum Capacity of Weight of Lift. Set up experiment tools in laboratory. Will collect data from 20 Morgan State University students both control and experiment groups and will use Minitab to analyze results.
Key Accomplishments:
• Findings will be presented to instructors, professionals and peers in the School of Engineering at Morgan State University in December 2015.

Project: “Producing Energy from Waste” 2014
Performed research on internet as it related to the amount of waste from poultry in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. Concluded that these states produce enough raw material to launch the project. Key contributor and trusted subject matter expert in decision making during weekly meeting.
Key Accomplishments:
• Played key role in collaborating research on “Producing Energy from Waste” which won the “Maryland Innovation Award” and was awarded $100K.
• Program will be implemented during Fall 2015

Student Research Assistant, Center for Advanced Energy Systems 2014 - 2015
Offered key support to Center for Advanced Energy Systems on a project on Oxy-fuel of biomass and Pollutant Reduction.
Performed literature review and proposed best design for the pollutant reduction system to be built. Used AutoCAD to design the proposed system.

• Recognized as leader and quickly promoted from Student Research Assistant to Student Researcher.

Intern: “Facial recognition using Eye-Tracking system” 2014
Worked independently on assigned projects including literature review on eye tracking, installation and system set-up, interviewed and collected data (point of gaze) from 10 Morgan’s state students using the Design of Experiment. Used Minitab to determine if people recognize faces by looking around the subject eyes
Key Accomplishments:

• Successfully represented Morgan State University at the symposium at Hampton University in Virginia on July 15th 2014 and at the symposium held in the School of Engineering at Morgan State University on July 31st 2014.

Collected data including maintenance cost, scope and estimated time of repair and inventory control in order to implement preventive maintenance plan.
