• Was responsible to fulfill some sales duties at Fastenal, which included ordering parts from the regional hubs, other branches, or separate vendors. I would call suppliers for pricing, and make quotes for customers.
• Made on-site deliveries of products to customers of special orders or regular binstock items.
• Took care of the miscellaneous tasks that needed to be done at the store. This included installing an inventory system used to keep up with the volume of the store’s largest customer. At times for small volume parts, I also made parts that couldn’t be found from vendors.
• Responsible for some the inventory redistribution and management at the store. This involved checking on high value parts regularly, and constantly checking and fixing mistakes in the inventory of the store.
