•A D&P Contracted Engineer, working as a mechanical engineer with ABB’s Switchgear research and development team.
•Developing solutions for my primary project involving Utility Metering Cubicle units to be purchased by other companies.
•Assisting on other projects including a Seismic Support Assembly for a Switchgear product and a 38kV Breaker Assembly.
•Working closely with senior engineers to correct and improve other 3D models and drawings for our other products.
•Communicating with the other departments within the company to ensure the completion of projects in a timely manner.

Contractor: D&P USA, LLC (Philadelphia, PA)October 2014 – Present

•Hired as an entry-level engineer for a small contracting firm located in Italy branching out to the United States.
•Spent the months of October and November 2014 in Bergamo, Italy to train and improve my skills using SolidWorks.
•Offers a wide range of experience for contract work, focusing mainly on the aerospace, electrical, and mechanical sectors.
•Exposure to both domestic and international work environments as well as insight into overseas company policies.

Engineering Assistant: B.E.A.R. Oceanics (Pottstown, PA) May 2013 – June 2013

•Created detailed drawings using Google SketchUp for basic mechanical support structures designed by the company.
•Worked directly with the head of the company on a part-time basis, where most of the work was done from home.

Collegiate Projects:
Design and Test of a Flapping Wing Micro Aerial Vehicle (Worcester, MA) Aug. 2013 – March 2014

•Worked in a group of three students and two advisors to design and test a flapping wing micro air vehicle.
•Design of the vehicle was based roughly on the body and wing structure and flight mechanics of a humming bird.
•Looked into fully autonomous, 3 axis flight mechanics with on-board, programmable controllers and power source.
•Researched various materials and structural designs to effectively use the vehicle’s on-board electronics for flight.
