Serving as the sole engineer in the office responsible for estimating, analyzing, designing, concept engineering and managing multiple construction projects at a time, ranging from $50K to $5M in contract amounts. Coordinating closely with associated professional engineers, architects and customers to meet specific custom criteria in a scheduled time. Highlights include:
Structural Engineering
• Evaluated proposed new structures, additions and renovations for structural criteria, such as: wind bracing, floor joist spans, roof truss designs, deck layouts, concrete and masonry strength, underpinning, and shoring
• Coordinated with professional engineers for custom designs to ensure critical load points were adequate for customer’s intended use, ranging from Ball Rooms to elevators shafts
