Engineering Projects
•UCLA Design/Build/Fly: Worked with a team to design and manufacture an r/c aircraft from scratch for an international competition with certain mission objectives. As the aerodynamics team lead, I was responsible for the design of all lifting and control surfaces, and ensured these integrated with all other systems. Our design report placed 6th out of 90 universities from all over the world.
•Worked with a team, utilizing CFD analysis, to design a sonic cruiser passenger jet that could travel 15% faster than current passenger jets
•Designed the internal structure of a utility-type aircraft wing to withstand the loads specified in the Federal Aviation Regulations Part 23 while minimizing weight
•Designed a space mission under NASA supervision that would launch two spacecraft off of one launch vehicle to rendezvous and analyze multiple near-earth-objects in a single mission. In charge of the power and thermal subsystems. This mission was then presented to NASA JPL.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Aeronautical Engineer (April 2014 – March 2015)
•Working with a multidisciplinary team to develop a series of novel hybrid airships for heavy cargo transportation with 66 ton and 250 ton payload capacities
•Primary materials, adhesives, and technical textile researcher. CATIA administrator and trainer
•Improved the current high performance fabric with a 40% strength increase and a 17% weight reduction
•Design, analysis, material testing, flight testing, & FAA certification of standard blimps

Design Engineer (Jan. 2012 – April 2014)
•Concept and design of world-class, business and first class cabins for original aircraft manufacturers, major airlines, and regional jets including the Boeing 777, Boeing 747, and Airbus A330
•Worked with a multidisciplinary team to create large assemblies with multiple configurations. Utilization of 3D modeling, creating technical drawings, and writing installation instructions.
