Continuous Improvement Coordinator - South Gate / Phoenix Plants
Safety Coordinator – Phoenix Plant

• Implement and launch the Continuous Improvement program at the Phoenix and Southgate plants.
• Lead and coordinate over 90 Shop floor & Business Kaizen Events in different plants: Phoenix, Southgate, and Denver.
• Coordinate the move of the Phoenix plant to new building, this process was developed into three phases: layout development, equipment transportation and production areas move; resulting in a very successful new plant start up.
• Implement and control 3-sigma projects through the plant.
• Coordinate a Synchronization Project at the Southgate plant reducing working hours by 30% of loading process.
• Coordinate an S&F Mattbuild event, improving the process flow and proper use of the space the production capacity of Mattbuild department was increased by 240 mattresses by shift, eliminating the need of second shift.
• Train over 150 hourly employees in lean manufacturing tools.
