Resume

I am a hardworking, self-motivated recent graduate. I enjoy working as part of a team to achieve desired goals and I am able to adjust and learn new skills quickly. For example, during my Masters project I researched, designed and executed a scientific study. This involved meetings with group members and my supervisor to update them on my progress, and share my findings. Then taking on feedback and being decisive in the direction I wished my research to take. As a new research project there were many challenges I had to overcome and problems I had to solve in order to be successful. The combination of teamwork, creativity and logical thinking was essential for me to achieve this.

I have gained a well-rounded knowledge of materials science, having covered modules in metals and alloys, polymers, ceramics and composite materials. As well as experience working in a laboratory environment. During my time at university I carried out multiple laboratory demonstrations and classes to groups of up to 40 undergraduate students. This taught me the importance of presenting key information in a clear and concise manner as well as improving my communication and time management skills.
