Quality engineering support for new product development and manufacturing of hydraulic actuators, valves, components, landing gear, and hydraulic/mechanical systems used on a variety of aircraft and space applications. Provide program quality engineering support for assigned contracted along with verifying conformance with customer specifications and engineering requirements.
Utilizing my engineering background and expertise to communicate between team members and customer counterparts to provide assurance that the hardware is compliant to specifications. Handle and communicate deviations/nonconformance’s at different levels within the organization. Practical and hands on experience with typical aerospace processes (machining, welding, NDT, coatings, metal forming, etc.) and how they are applied to the hardware being manufactured
Apply modern quality principles, concepts, and methods to aerospace and manufacturing operation, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, customer quality requirements, and company quality requirements to ensure compliance with the customer's expectations.
