PROJECTS
3 Band Graphic Equalizer Circuit Senior Design Project: 1/14-5/14
Designed a 3 band graphic equalizer using the program Multisim. The equalizer was then constructed and tested on a breadboard using the University of Hartford’s electrical laboratory oscilloscopes. Presented and simulated the final circuit design to professional engineers as an individual senior project (AUD 462).

Full Recording Studio Production Projects: 8/13-5/14
Recorded, mixed and mastered tracks with 16+ artists using the University of Hartford Studios. Averaged 10 hours in the studio each week both junior and senior year working with local artists. Made the most of the fully equipped recording studios more than any other audio student in the program. Gained knowledge on patch bay configurations, microphone techniques, recording to tape, and overall recording studio production processes.

Reverse Engineering of a Fender Champion Guitar Amplifier: 1/14- 5/14
Deconstructed a Fender Champion 600 Guitar Amplifier with a lab partner and analyzed the signal flow within the system. Tested the amplifier on the lab bench and compared measured data to specifications. Generated a parts list and researched a cost estimate. The amplifier was then modified by soldering an equalizer into the circuitry.

Assembled Tremolo and Fuzz Guitar Pedals: 2/14-3/14
Assembled multiple guitar pedals on PCB boards through the online website- buildyourownclone.com. Practiced soldering, wiring, and gained an understanding of signal flow within audio hardware.





WORK EXPERIENCE
Audio Student Staff Engineer, West Hartford, CT 1/12-5/14
Assisted underclassmen students using the College of Engineering and Technology’s professional studio equipment. Worked Sunday nights teaching studio procedures and guiding students through studio sessions. Took on a management position booking talent for student projects while working with a team of 7 other staff engineers.
