National Science Foundation REU Summer Research Program - Student Research Assistant Summer 2010
Researched diagnostic techniques for diagnosis sleep apnea in an effort to develop an inexpensive pre-screening method for sleep apnea. Developed and integrated hardware and algorithm to analyze output. Project was aligned with the research department at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. Results presented at NAECON Conference and the National Science Foundation REU Conference.
Authored paper entitled "A Simple Sleep Stage Identification Technique for Incorporation in Inexpensive Electronic Sleep Screening Devices," which was printed in the NAECON Magazine for 2010.
