Providing services during construction for three projects under the program- Responsibilities include: a) Reviewing submittals and answering RFI’s; b) Participating in progress meetings with client and the construction management team, and visiting site to assess site conditions when necessary; c) Assisting Project Manager in coordinating with staff/engineer from various disciplines, including Structural, HVAC, Civil and Architectural to aid services during construction.

Water Engineer 1 (Sept. 2010 – Sept. 2013)

Project Engineer, Wastewater Pumping Station Bypass Design Services, County of Fairfax, VA (Sept. 2012 – May 2013)
The project involved preparing an Emergency Bypass Pumping System for two existing pumping stations under the supervision of a senior engineer: a) Performed hydraulic calculations; b) Prepared pump and pipe layouts; c) Participated in Design Coordination Meetings with the clients.

Project Engineer, Electrical Building Upgrade, Upper Occoquan Sewage Authority, Centerville, VA (Aug. 2011 – Jan. 2013)
a) Designed diesel fuel oil tank system with double-wall fiberglass tanks and piping; and Automatic Gauging System (ATG) as required by Virginia regulations; b) Communicated with tank removal and installation companies and various vendors for selection of equipments in the system; c) Reviewed submittals and answered RFI’s.

Design Engineer, Wet Weather Capacity and Nitrogen Reduction Improvement, Phase I, Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority, New Haven, CT (Mar. 2012 – Jan. 2013)
Assisted a senior technologist in designing a centralized order control system: a) Prepared duct layout, integrating various odorous air sources through the plant; Performed pressure loss calculations; designed fittings as necessary; selected duct support types and locations in the system; b) Prepared a layout of chemical piping to deliver desired chemical dosage to the centralized odor control system; c) Prepared specifications.

Staff Engineer, Hay Road Wastewater Treatment Plant- Renewable Energy Biosolids Facility, Honeywell ESCO Project for the City of Wilmington, DE (Nov. 2011 – Sept. 2012)
The project involved harvesting digester gas and landfill gas for energy generation: a) Drafted process flow diagrams in AutoCAD; b) Communicated with vendors for biogas treatment; c) Assisted senior engineer with facility layout and drainage calculations for the storm water drainage system around the facility.

Staff Engineer, Honeywell (ESCO Project for a client in Presov, Slovakia) (Nov. 2011 – Apr. 2012)
Aries Combine Heat and Power (CHP) Plant Co-Generation: a) Assisted senior engineer in the design by assessing relevant climatic conditions, and calculating heat and power demand of the plant and the production capacity of generator sets; b) Helped with payback cost analysis, and contributed in a project report.
