CAREER OBJECTIVE
I am interested in joining a local firm with growth potential that is a good cultural fit, in which I can continue to develop as an IT professional. Ideally I’d like to transition from a hands-on technical position to an IT Management, IT consulting, or sales engineer position. I recently received an executive MBA from St. Joseph’s University. I pursued this degree to broaden my business acumen, as well as to develop leadership and management capabilities. The executive program focused on developing interpersonal and soft skills while working in small teams. It also emphasized strategic thinking and analysis of business opportunities. I am confident that my IT background, along with newly developed business skills, could add value to your firm.
EDUCATION
SAINT JOSEPH’S UNIVERSITY, Erivan K. Haub School of Business, Philadelphia, PA
MBA, EXECUTIVE MASTER’S IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, 2012
Overview: The program was team based, and it struck a balance between strategic thinking, business theory, financial principles, and executive leadership. There was a large emphasis on soft skills such as team building, making presentations, and developing oneself into a future business leader. I gained great experience for a future sales, business consulting, and/or executive management role. The degree also required an International Business Residency in Brazil and Argentina in March 2012.

SALES ENGINEERING AND SOFT SKILL EXPERIENCE
Over the past six years I have been involved with various indirect technical roles that corresponded directly to my day to day technical assignment for the government customer. Below are a few examples that should demonstrate my soft skills, business development skills, presentation and influencing experience, and my involvement working with 3rd party software vendors and government contractors.
• Worked directly with 3rd party sales teams and software vendors by orchestrating product demonstrations and presentations to the federal government.
• Took part in finding new business opportunities for General Dynamics. This entailed spotting needs or addressing internal DLA issues within the computer environment; finding the right technology for remediation or productivity gain; And then influencing DLA or GDIT management to go in the right direction or make the best decision for the enterprise or other stakeholders.
• Interpreted government mandates and customer requirements; Developed PowerPoint presentations on the informational change or new technology; then made presentations providing training and knowledge transfer to management and lower level employees. Additionally made presentations regarding certain process and technological changes occurring within the federal landscape.
• Was involved in writing and answering RFP’s /RFI’s issued by the federal government for technologies, guidance and computing recommendations.
• Wrote SOW’s for future contract opportunities. Was instrumental in recruiting potential candidates for the possible award of future contract opportunities.
