Enterprise Business Services
• Served as the primary developer on several HR web applications, written primarily in C# and VB.NET with Oracle databases, which were used by tens of thousands of users. Functioned as a developer in enhancing Lockheed Martin’s primary HR portal which was used by the entire employee population of over 140,000 employees.
• Developed expertise with the software lifecycle by engaging in version upgrades, product enhancements and bug fixes on a regular basis.
• Provided adequate documentation for any code changes made and engaged in the appropriate release procedures, including peer reviews and unit testing. Near 100% bug-free production releases.
• Led the analysis and development of upgrading the Corporate E-Verification VB.NET application to use Department of Homeland Security E-Verify Web Service version 21 (and subsequently versions 22 and 23). Went above and beyond responsibilities by filling in for another developer, while also identifying and correcting existing production bugs, all within schedule.
• Resolved over half a dozen production critical incidents within hours of their report for various HR systems.
• Acclimated to new projects quickly. Within a month of working on HR’s Compensation Assessment Tool, resolved 4 break-fix incidents, and discovered then resolved two production bugs.
• Completed over two dozen enhancements and bug fixes for the Lockheed Martin University Events Manager website, written in C# with Oracle databases. Redesigned its algorithm for retrieving search results from Active Directory, resulting in performance improvements of up to 60% faster queries.
• Functioned as the primary developer on the Lockheed Martin Stock Options system consisting of over 10 modules, facilitating the maintenance of over $900M in options, and written in languages such as VB, Java, and HTML. Directly modified SQL Server and Oracle databases in support of the system.

• Exhibited leadership by regularly providing and implementing improvement suggestions for web applications supported. Some examples include the creation of a test environment for an application that lacked one, switching from monthly to yearly expiring database accounts, and merging various ASPX pages and their corresponding code behinds. These changes reduced future rework and the probability of bugs, while increasing consistency and saving our customers thousands of dollars per year.
