Supply Chain Program Manager (NPI) 2008 – 2013
Managed New Product Introduction of Alcatel-Lucent’s most critical North American customer solution (AT&T’s U-Verse) worth over $3 B. Led a cross-functional team including R&D, Product Line Management, Engineering, Sales, Quality & Program Management, while outsourcing production to contract manufacturers and original design manufacturers.

• Extremely successful production launch of AT&T “U-Verse” Triple Play (TV, Internet, Phone) equipment.
• Shipped more than 100,000 “Triple-Play” outdoor cabinets nationwide.
• Customer partner as member of cross functional team delivering new U-Verse solution on time and under budget. Customer (AT&T) rewarded Alcatel-Lucent by requesting assistance from my team with the nationwide launch of AT&T wireless service equipment.
• Won corporate “Alcatel Cup Team Excellence Award” by leading cross-functional team to automate data entry for drop-shipped customer deliveries. New system saved $200,000 / year.

New Product Project Manager 2000 – 2008
Managed operations portion of many of Alcatel’s most important North American product introductions including high visibility 1631, 7201 and 1696 programs. Planned Fortune 500 customer projects while ensuring compliance to specifications. Led efforts to establish production processes for new products including product flow, electronic and mechanical assembly, test procedures, and design for manufacturability. Identified manufacturing risks and incorporated risk mitigation actions before new products were approved for high volume production. Operations VP relied on my expertise and judgment in determining when new product designs were stable, reliable and ready for production.

• Coordinated efforts in Europe and the USA in adapting new 1696 product to the American market. This product was developed in France and Spain, produced in Italy, and is now sold worldwide.
• Worked with internal factories and external contract manufacturers to execute engineering prototypes and pilot series units for R&D group with over 35 designers.
• Won highly respected “Alcatel Operations Award” from VP of Operations for driving successful production launch of next generation 1631 Cross Connect project.
