Perform general management duties such as team member evaluations, section annual operating budget control, development of section annual and long term objectives/targets, executive-level reporting, and resource management for a group of up to 11 members.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies for section and team member short and long term development;
o Develop and have received VP level approval of section 5-yr Plan;
o Expand section headcount and create a new role to improve section project efficiency;
• Establish the strategic direction for North American tooling-related initiatives for Engine, Axle, and Transmission component machining;
• Lead project engineering teams to complete small and large scale ($1.5M to $120M) capital projects that contribute to North American self-reliance, profitability, and the development of leading edge machining methods;
