PROFFESIONAL EXPERIENCE
Tidewater Marine
Currently employed as a marine engineer / naval architect providing fleet support and August 2012 - Present
supervision of new construction projects in an office setting. Fleet support responsibilities
include, ship stability calculations, machinery modifications and logistics, and customer
technical support. Presently overseeing 3 new construction projects of platform supply
vessels; this entails systems, equipment, and structural drawing review.

The Interlake Steamship Company
Employed as a licensed 3rd Assistant Engineer aboard two of their vessels. May 2011 to June 2012
The Kaye E Barker, a 7000 hp steam turbine plant with 450 psi Babcock
and Wilcox boilers and the Mesabi Miner, a 1004 ft vessel with 2 16 cylinder
V type Pielstick Main Engines. Responsibilities included maintenance and the proper
operation of ship service turbo-generators, CAT diesel generators, sewage treatment plants,
oil purifiers and oily water separators. Normal shipboard actions included watch standing,
paralleling generators, ME & generator start-up and shutdown, and bunkering operations.
