MEC/Screaming Circuits 2013- Internship
•6 month Spring/Summer full-time internship with Multiple Engineering CO-OP Program Inc. (MECOP Inc.) at MEC/Screaming Circuits
•Kaizan project to diminish non-Value added work in the SMT Fuji- line
•Research work to investigate if a new kind of solder paste will meet customer’s needs. Tested product in several different scenarios and situations with a report-out.
•Developed and Built hold fixtures for two production lines to make work more efficient and reduce fatigue.
•Time study project to update bidding for jobs.
•Developed and built a load resistance testing box.
•Researched and developed a way for magnification lights to slide down a table to use for installing small parts in hand-add area.
•Updated and developed new ideas to update the MSDS to the new SDS. Implanted a new strategy for training employees and keeping the company up to OSHA regulations.
Boeing 2012-Internship

•Manufacturing engineering department as a production engineer.
•Investigated how QC regulated tools being used to make sure they are within spec and not being used longer then used by date. I proposed a solution to managers to make sure equipment is always up-to-date and stays with-in specifications.
•Worked with a team in a Lean Accelerated Improvement Workshop work shop to layout and plan for the future flow of induction hardened bevel gears.
•Worked in a cost reduction program to help cut costs on a certain manufacturing process while staying with-in FAA regulations.
•Worked on Manufacturing Production Guides to make sure they are up-to-date. They help employees set up machines for machining operations on certain parts. Boeing changed over to a new operation and wanted to make sure the new guides were implemented in each area.
•Updated the process guide book for engineering department at Boeing. The book helps engineers set up production flow for a new part.
•Actively participated in several opportunities including Boeing on the Move, Reach, improvement workshops, and seminars for using the latest technologies
•Successfully learned and used Boeing data base to find parts, drawings, and specs
