Provide professional and scientific engineering services related to the repair, overhaul, maintenance, and modification on the UH/HH-1 and the OH-58 Helicopters for the Army, Navy and Air Force. Evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems. Review production schedules, engineering specifications, engineering orders, and related information. Confer with quality control, material, manufacturing, and other department personnel to provide technical support. Interpret engineering drawings and facilitate correction of errors on drawings and other technical documents. Investigate reports of potentially defective, damaged, or malfunctioning hardware to determine scope of problem. Consult with project, design, or facilities engineers to obtain specialized information. Evaluate findings to formulate recommendations for corrective action plans and coordinates implementation of plans. Provide direct process engineering support to the aircraft production shop floor. Incorporated ECN's into L-3 System using Teamcenter Engineering and CATIA V5. Learning the L-3 methods, preparing for transition to 2nd shift. Offered and took a direct position in December, 2009.
