U.S. SYNTHETIC, Orem, UT, 2013 – Present
Internal Startup Engineer
Launched a new venture that went from nothing to more than $300K in annual revenue in 3 years. Designed parts, fixturing, support systems, prototypes and tests to support the new venture. Used forensic engineering to determine failure causes to improve product performance. Cold called potential customers and built a business model based on customer feedback and field tests. Integrated the new venture into existing US Synthetic systems.

Student Process Engineer
Led a team in a Kaizen event to prevent brazing defects resulting in savings of nearly $275K per year in addition to more predictable flow times and higher production.
ACCENTURE, Denver, CO, Summer 2012
Systems Integration Analyst Intern
Developed work plans in Microsoft Project to aid management efforts of software development projects. Created a simple process in SQL to allow for systematic search and deletion of obsolete data from a set of more than 700 SAP Z tables.
STUDY ABROAD - Ghana, Summer 2012
Business Model Development Consultant
Created market expansion and product development plans for a Ghanaian inventor who created a sustainable, sanitary toilet system. Conducted on-the-ground (literally) market research within the sanitation industry in Ghana. Conducted interviews with leaders from more than 10 government agencies and non-profit organizations.
