• Trouble shooting issues related to Pitch bearing (PB) and gear rim (GR) at Plant during assembly and On-site during operation and installation using FMEA and RCA tools.
• In case of any modification in the product or addition if new component responsible for taking trial test with the modification in the component (PB and GR) at plant as well at site and submitting the test report.
• Developing ECN in regards with the changes approved with the PB and GR.
• Updating data in SAP against the provided ECN with respect to the Part Drawings revision and BOM based on the changes in the part.
• Drafting a document describing the process and checklist to be followed during assembly and maintenance of PB and GR for workers at plant and on site. This document helped to standardize the assembly process resulting in reduction of errors made during the assembly and maintenance process. Providing design inputs for automatic Lubrication of Pitch bearing (PB) and gear rim (GR) and taking trial test with the given inputs.
• Responsible for packaging and transportation of PB and GR to the site in case of new machine installation or replacement of component at site.
• Reviewing revised version of manufacturing drawing for PB and GR.
• Updating the current version/revision of the part drawing in SAP.
• Headed a project of inspecting PB and GR of Wind turbines installed 5 years back. The objective of the project was to determine the PB’s and GR’s which required maintenance as to avoid their sudden breakdown, saving the production loss.

Working at assembly line the objective was to reduce the SETUP TIME during change in the model, using quality tools like FMEA, RCA and 6 SIGMA to improve the performance of the assembly line.
