• Project manager of Basic Engineering Package preparation for polysilicon licenses.
• Responsible for all startup activities and technical services for high purity trichlorosilane plants for producing polysilicon.
• Activities include pre-startup certifications, training programs, plant optimization and performance testing followed by client technical support and guidance.

2007 to 2008 - Project Manager – Consultant, Petrotechnics USA, Houston, TX/Aberdeen, Scotland
• Responsible for project management, client engagement and change management of frontline work executions, primarily permit to work and manufacturing optimizations.
• Led a team of twenty professionals for eight months, on-site at BP Whiting and Carson refineries, training and reinforcing best practices in hazard recognition, earning $6mm.

2007 - Director of Operations, US BioDiesel Group, San Francisco, CA
• Contracted to develop uniform operational procedures and dissemination of best practices for plant operations. Responsible for acquired facility turnaround, integration of operations into new 35 mm gpy plant design, start up support and community-commercial relationships in Houston.
• Performed due diligence audit on USBDG biodiesel acquisition.
• Supported start up of Houston Biodiesel plant with raw material sourcing and negotiating.

2001 to 2007 – Plant Manager, Shin-Etsu Silicones of America, Inc., Freeport, Texas
Plant Manager
• Facilitated permitting, construction, commissioning and start up of $70mm green field, multi-national, carbon functional silanes plant with advanced environmental and process controls. Staffed and trained personnel for all departments.
• Produced all required chemicals in multiple production units; obtained ISO: 9001-2000 certification, and had four years of no reportable safety incidents. Controlled $10mm budgets with staffing 40+ personnel.
• Implemented and refined the manufacturing and related programs for safety, quality, accounting, laboratory, logistics, maintenance and environmental. Negotiated all raw material and utility contracts.
• Integrated an additional $10mm production unit into the site operation with increased staffing, thorough commission and a successful startup with no off-spec product.

1990 to 2000 – Plant Manager, Southern Ionics Incorporated, Pasadena, Texas
• Designed the master plan of a chemical manufacturing facility.
