• Responsible for development and to provide guidance to the recertification of the Kelly Space jet and rocket engine test facility.
• Acted as Program Manager/Principle Investigator of Department of Defense (DOD) government programs funded by U.S. Congress. Represented the company lobbying Research and Development Programs in Washington DC winning support from various Representatives and Senators.
• Programs successfully contracted I was responsible for included the demonstration of a hand-held explosive detector, coating removal pulse laser system (3 separate programs), ballistic protection system design and demonstration (2 separate programs) for an approximate value of $12m. Acted as principal investigator for operational and financial reporting of government contracts to representatives of the various military program managers and government project managers.

• Acted as the Quality Assurance Manager for all Kelly Space Test Operations and conformance to ISO 9001 standards. Including authoring the initial QA manual, procedures, and work instructions. Represented the company in all ISO9000 customer audits.
• Responsible for Quality Assurance regarding all Test Operations including, but not limited to independent third party testing of client hardware in environmental chambers, sand environment and blasting chambers, altitude and pressure environment chambers, vibration simulation and analysis and destructive testing.
• Represent the company regarding all safety aspects of the facility, test operations, and act as point of contact for the Fire Chief and other local agencies.
• Responsible for final review of all test reports for conformity and adherence to testing control and customer requirements.

• Co-founded with Kelly Space & Technology, Inc. a machine trades training program to provide certified employment skills training and job placement assistance to enhance the employability of job seekers, facilitate career growth opportunities for employees, and assist employers in acquiring an exceptionally qualified workforce.
• Responsible for establishing and working with legal representation to form the non-profit 501c3 corporation completing the process through receiving letter of tax exemption. Planned facility improvement timelines, budget, and coordinated curriculum development.
• Successful working with CPA firm to complete the 2010 tax obligation of the 501c3 Corporation under immense time restraint while simultaneously completing the 2009 taxes without incurring penalties or fees.
• Act as point of contact for all external communications, providing equipment, and lead cross-functional teams with in the organization of volunteers to set up and put in place the training program on a very limited budget.

• Primarily investigated manufacturing discrepancies by determining root cause and implement corrective actions to improve production efficiency or product quality.
• Independently prepare, conduct, and evaluate analyses for electrical planning and improvement including layout, production flow, tooling and production equipment, material, fabrication, assembly methods, planning and labor requirements.

Other daily tasks included modification of manufacturing-sequence of operations, detailed methodology of complex assemblies and installations, and detail components including trouble shooting in production areas and specific discrepancies.
• Successfully managed special projects regarding Lean Manufacturing saving the company over $400K annually.
• Utilizing CADAM/CATIA data and nesting software, I was responsible for generating flat patterns and data for electrical harness production department to building all the electrical harnesses for GIV and GV aircraft that met engineering and manufacturing requirements, including engineering change orders.

While acting as liaison between engineering and the production line continuously scrutinizing aircraft during the production process and worked with engineering to solve inconsistencies with the production standard.
