PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

I have hands on engineering design, construction administration and oversight, and project management as well as practical onsite construction work experience in both Horizontal and Vertical Construction and Engineering Design. Specific work experience entail project development and planning skills and project execution skills in multiple aspects of the construction and engineering discipline.

I am currently advising as a Construction Management Consultant with Caribbean Power Partners a US based Energy Consortium in the Project Development Process of a 170 Megawatt Power Plant and up to November 2012, I have recently served as an Associate Technical Professional at Halliburton Energy Services where I trained in multiple aspects of Oilfield Engineering and Planning inclusive of Cement Engineering, Laboratory Training, and extensive education in all aspects of Oil and Gas Field Services.

Historically, my work experience involved engineering design and construction of vertical and horizontal structures, as well as integrated construction and engineering participation in the project development planning, design, procurement, financial modeling, and construction of water and wastewater system, power plants, highway and bridges, marine structures, residential homes, commercial buildings, hospitality resort complexes, as well as construction remediation/repair/rehabilitation works related to environmental construction projects.

I have had the luxury to plan, design, and direct work execution related tasks as Design Engineer Associate, Construction Manager, General Contractor, and Project Director.

The specific work environment and team associated members as well as clients, included Companies which perform Construction Management & Engineering Services as well as Environmental Consultancy Services within The Bahamas, The Caribbean, The United States of America, and in The Philippines (City of Makati).

These professional work experiences provided the opportunity to work in collaboration with and on behalf of Construction Engineering and Environmental Firms such as Veolia Water North America, Consultec Engineering and Construction Management (Florida), EDSA Architecture and Planning, Environmental Resources Management (ERM), West Central Environmental Consultants (Minnesota), Globetec Construction, Skanska Construction, Shore Ports & Harbours, MIYA Water (Arison Group of Companies) & Maynilad Water Services (Manila), and Island Global Yachting, as well as local Bahamian Construction and Engineering Firms and the Bahamas Government.

Practical Experience also includes Construction Management and Engineering Advisory Services as well as Environmental Consultancy Services with responsibility to research, plan, direct, and review, multiple aspects of project development tasks associated with conceptual design and costing, production of an Environmental Impact Assessment & Archeological Study, and Transportation Planning, for Mr. Roger Stein of RHS Ventures during the project development, planning approval, and permitting phases of the New South Ocean Resort and Casino, Nassau, Bahamas (Project Value $1.3 billion).

In the execution of work tasks, I have been responsible for project development, engineering planning and design, value engineering and constructability reviews, as well as strategic elements related to project cost engineering solutions, construction management, project management, and general construction.

Work Tasks were inclusive of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and On-Site Inspection as well as Approval for Self Performed and Subcontracted Works with responsibility to generate reports as well as review and approval of reports produced by supervised employees and associated peer professionals.

My Project Development and Construction Knowledge is based on practical experience in elements of construction management, cost optimization, engineering design, construction scheduling and cost estimating, and general construction contracting.

Additionally, I have Construction Management Education and Field Work Experience related to heavy and highway construction (inclusive of infrastructures), building construction, industrial construction, environmental construction, and marine construction projects.

I have a love for the Construction Delivery Process and my experiences began at an early age where I began as a timekeeper and had the opportunity to work alongside foremen, land surveyors, carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians, and specialty tradesmen.

These opportunities in the Construction Delivery Process afforded me the luxury to interact with Architects, Engineers, and Construction Administrators as well as Project Managers and Owner Representatives.

Moreover, I have a Construction & Engineering Experience that encompasses a background in the design and execution of construction processes utilizing construction and engineering tools to plan, schedule, and monitor the construction process.
