THE PROJECT GROUP, AMERICA – Jamison, PA
- Solutions Developer, (July 2011 – September 2012) Worked on a 2-3 person team that built custom solutions for clients leveraging Microsoft technologies such as C#, SQL Server, .NET, and InfoPath.
Selected Contributions:
- Developed major modules within Galaxy, Mylan Pharmaceutical’s project and portfolio management system housed in SharePoint. The Galaxy system brought Project Server functionality into an automated management process allowing integration of project data as well as SAP data.
- Built the Business Case module, responsible for the entry/updating of every resource defined on the project. Users define all physical hardware/software and project resource estimates for initial approval by defined roles based on the yearly budget. After approval, the Business Case was updated with actual data to the monthly level, saving each instance for historical purposes, which is then used to power the Capital Expenditure module as well as the Budget Allocation module.
- Built supporting SQL tables, table types and stored procedures for Business Case and Capital Expenditure modules.
- Held demos to the Mylan team until all new functionality was shown, then moved to user-testing sessions and bug report meetings. These were held every week or twice a week depending on project status.
- Helped develop and implement TPG’s CAIS solution to increase operational efficiency and safety for Jacobs and their client, Bonneville Power Authority. Built all InfoPath forms used as well as several SSRS reports.
