- Under supervision of a faculty member, assisted two graduate students with ongoing research.
- One of which was testing erosion control methods on disturbed slopes in Alabama. In order to collect sediment runoff from the test sites, we used Coshocton wheel water samplers. The Coshocton wheel water samplers were assembled, calibrated, and installed by me.
- The other graduate student was testing the effectiveness of wastewater distribution by sub-surface drip irrigation on Black Belt soils. While assisting this graduate student we traveled to the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station in Selma, AL to install soil moisture probes and RainBird electronic irrigation controllers.
