Responsibilities handled:
Detail Engineering:
• Analysis and design of industrial steel and reinforced concrete structures (Reformer, Heater, Pipe Racks, Equipment Supporting Structures, Stack (Chimney), and Technological structures) mainly related to the onshore refinery, petrochemical and fertilizer plant industries. Lifting and transportation analysis of structural modules and frames for erection on site.
• Preparation/Checking and submission of design-basis, design-reports, general arrangement & fabrication drawings to the PMC / Client / Site.
• Engineering coordination with client, PMC, vendors and internal disciplines.
• Detailed study of ITB, quantity and cost estimation of materials & effective man-hour estimation.
Site management and Interdisciplinary coordination:
• Trouble shooting site queries, with necessary coordination with the site engineer. Monitoring the progress while maintaining the project schedule.
• Coordination with the various upstream and downstream disciplines including process, systems, piping & instrumentation for the input data and output deliverable's.
Developmental Activities:
• Preparation of departmental SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedure) for Reformer analysis and design. Development of standard worksheets for design of base plate, splice plates & connections.
• Quality control and documentation of the project deliverables.
