Qualified Engineer on the S8G reactor plant in electrical theory, reactor theory, fluids, chemical/radiological theory and operation of nuclear power plants. Proven ability in training and supervision of technical labor force in an industrial environment. Experience in trouble shooting complex problems and developing time-critical solutions. 2009 Junior Officer of the Year on board USS West Virginia (GOLD) SSBN-736.

Engineering Officer of the Watch – Supervise operation of the submarines nuclear power plant underway. Respond to all system casualties and brief the Commanding Officer and Engineering Officer on the status of the engine room. Completed three successful Operational Reactor Safeguard Examinations: evaluated in casualty response, coordination, and supervision of complex nuclear procedures.

Assistant Engineer – Assist in managing daily operations of Engineering Department; mentor and train new junior officers; senior drill member of the casualty drill team; certify enlisted personnel as qualified for watch standing in the engine room of a nuclear submarine.
