As Chief Electrical Engineer for two large National and International Engineering companies during the 1990’s, Principal/Owner of a Consulting Electrical Engineering Company for 12 years and Electrical Engineering Department Manager for the last 5 years, my area of knowledge and experience is not only in the Electrical Engineering of small to large Medical, Educational, Industrial, Commercial, Aviation, Railroad, Amusement Parks and defense projects, but also in the management of engineering departments for local offices in the Los Angeles area as well as field and engineering departments in Denver, Phoenix, Sacramento, Arlington, Chicago, Orlando, Seoul, Hong Kong and Shanghai for projects throughout the United States and Asia.
Among my responsibilities as owner of my Engineering Practice and as Electrical Engineering Department Manager included the preparation of marketing material and presentation to clients, determining staffing and budget requirements for the department, perform reliability, concept and feasibility studies, develop operation and design standards, construction administration, conduct site investigations to determine existing conditions, prepare electrical specifications, prepare engineering documents for submittal ensuring compliance with applicable local codes and regulations, prepare engineering calculations and technical papers.
My technical knowledge and expertise includes low, and medium voltage power distribution systems at Airports, Colleges, Military Bases, Medical, Research Laboratory, Amusement Parks, and Industrial Facilities.
