Professional Experience

HENSEL PHELPS CONSTRUCTION CO. - Area Superintendent / Project Engineer - 11/06 to 8/10
Denver Justice Center (Denver, CO) - Contract: $160M
Five-story (plus basement) Courthouse constructed for the City and County of Denver with approximately 310,000 square feet in usable area including thirty-five courtrooms.
• Formulated a plan and managed a crew of twenty-five carpenters, field engineers, and subcontractors to complete approximately 25,000 punch list items to meet the project completion schedule.
• Managed the utilities, drywall, framing, and high end finish construction for five floors of the building and formulated a schedule to return delayed areas back into the flow of the project.
• Installed a process to review, submit, and track over $1 million in changes / value engineering for the project.
• Directed a team of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection subcontractors (MEP) in the 3D coordination / modeling of building main utilities resulting in no major conflicts during construction.
