Brief description of project: Working in KG-D6 gas field, it is a sandstone gas reservoirs supported by water drive mechanism formed in a continental shelf of Krishna Godavari Basin which includes 18 vertical and deviated open hole and cased hole gravel pack wells having water depth of 1100m along with sand screens and tied back to subsea pipelines. Wells are high water producing and sand producing wells, presently high formation water production, hydrate inhibitor injection and sand production is causing troubles in the maximum production from the field.
The detailed description of my job profile is mentioned below:
• Worked on well performance of gas wells. Evaluating predicted IPR and actual IPR for deepwater gas wells by using back pressure, P2 and pseudo pressure approach.
• Monitor and perform daily well operations and well parameters and perform data analysis.
• Conduct well modeling and nodal analysis for gas wells in wellflo and PIPESIM software. Perform nodal analysis at bottom hole and well bore, predict future production rates and evaluate high liquid loading & Choke Performance.
• Performed Pressure Transient Analysis for gas wells – Conducted Well Test and diagnostic analysis and modeling & Interpretation for gas wells in pansys and saphir well testing software.
• Working on conventional & flowing material balance techniques for reserves estimation for D1D3 field, Production forecasting by using Mbal software.
• Production optimization by using latest technologies and predicting well performance.
• Hydrate Inhibitor injection management and its optimization & hydrate curves generation in PVTsim for hydrate management in gas wells. Carrying out feasibility studies for implementing Low Dosage Hydrate Inhibitor (LDHI) for hydrate prevention in the gas field as an alternative to thermodynamic hydrate inhibitor (MEG).
• Corrosion Inhibitor injection management & optimization in subsea wells and corrosion monitoring within the subsea system for preventing corrosion to occur in subsea pipelines.
• Flow Assurance simulations by conducting steady state and transient cases in OLGA and Production Simulation System (PSS). Well start up and shutdown, operational changes and upsets. Working on Solid deposition and transportation studies for gas field in OLGA.
• Perform various simulations on Production Simulator System (PSS). Liquid hold up, critical flow velocity and erosion flow velocity ratio & residence time simulations for assisting subsea operations integrity of subsea system. Evaluate loading and unloading problems of liquid in gas wells and subsea pipelines system. Currently working on Solid deposition and transportation studies for gas field in OLGA.
