WORK EXPERIENCE:

- At ARIES Industrial y Naval Servicios, S.A., company leader in marine and industrial sectors, mainly involved in engineering, sales of equipments and turn-key projects:

- From March 2006 to now, Technical and Production Manager, leading a team of 80 engineers and developing engineering projects ( 125,000 man-hours-year) within the head office and two regional departments:

- Management of the R&D project: Optimisation and Efficiency of Research Vessels. Hydrodynamic improvements and new tools for the reduction of noise level and vibrations (2009 –2010).
- Feasibility technical study to incorporate renewable energies on board a research vessel (2009).
- Budget for the building of the RV “Cornide of Saavedra Replacement”, IEO (2009).
- Conceptual project for the replacement of the Research Vessel “Cornide of Saavedra” (IEO, Spanish Oceanographic Institute), awarded by public tender; 7,500 man-hours (2008).
- Registration project for the approval by the Spanish Administration of:
- Halmatic H-40 for Pilots of Algeciras Harbor (2006).
- Halmatic HN-42 for Pilots of Tenerife Harbor (2007).
- Seward Nelson 42 MKII for Pilots of Tenerife Harbor (2010).
- Management for the detailed design (structures and piping) of the following projects:
- BVL (Coastal patrol ship for Venezuela Navy), NAVANTIA Shipyard, 50,000 man-hours (2006 - 2008).
- Ferries C-1655, C-1661, C-1662 and C-1666 for H.J. BARRERAS Shipyard (2006 –2009, Spain).
- Chemical tankers: C-508/509/510 for VULCANO Shipyard (2006-2008, Spain).

- Management of the department in terms of profitability of projects, quality control and new technologies incorporation.

- Strategy, leading and control of projects schedules ensuring all costs are within budgets.
- Preparation of tenders, presentation to the customers and monitoring of new projects.
- Coordination within the company including head technical office and regional departments.
- Strategy and development of commercial policy of the company.
- Marketing: presentations and conferences in exhibitions and congresses.
