Senior Project Engineer - North Campus Operations, Redmond, WA, 2008 - 2009
* Improved production training by promoting the integration of the Job Instruction method into our operating standards. Made standardization achievable by setting the guidelines for the integration of the yamazumi board, job breakdown sheet and work instructions.
* Designed a visual system for documenting part flows that improved efficiency in keeping up with engineering and supplier changes.
* Made productive use of the downturn in business by coordinating all relevant lean training for all production managers, supervisors, key support staff and team leaders. Conducted the training when trainers were unavailable, obtaining 100% compliance.

Project Engineer - Production Leadership Development, Redmond, WA, 2007 - 2008
* Filled interdivisional requests to conduct the Team Leader course at Terex facilities in England and Scotland. Trained 25 in production leadership roles
* Coached two additional trainers to obtain Team Leader course teaching certification.
* Met an eight-day challenge to put a new 16-hour, lean manufacturing class together for production team members in England. Prepared content, participant manuals and designed a three-round, hands-on lean assembly simulation using a wood block car kit.
* Trained nearly 50 in production leadership roles in Job Instruction after receiving instructor certification from the Training Within Industry group.

Senior Manufacturing & Project Engineer - Slab Scissors Operations, Redmond, WA, 2000 - 2007
* Produced a visual quality build plan that served as the future state vision for the management team.
* Supported production managers to make better decisions by providing them with a shift start report of their key metrics. Automated data download and reports through the use of standard software (Access, Excel and Showcase) and its integrated Visual Basic for Applications
capability.
* Established plant production rates, model mix and supplier forecasts through the amalgamation of sales forecast, order backlog analysis, and production capability. Trained schedulers and served as the back-up plant scheduler.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Small Boom Operations, Redmond, WA, 1996 - 2000
* Designed and implemented one of the first kanban systems in the company.
* Instrumental in converting this operation to pull, build-to-order and standard work-in-process through the design and implementation of the materials database and build card sequencing applications and processes, which both became models for company wide efforts.
