• Highly experienced in materials characterization such as particle size analysis, hardness testing, mechanical properties testing, macro- and microstruture characterization by using OM, SEM, BET, XRD, TGA, DSC. Sample preparation and interpretation.
• Thorough knowledge of metallurgical and ceramics processes (such as ball milling, drying, pressure (including uniaxial press and hot isostatic press), tape casting, and firing), solid state physics, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry and basic understanding organic chemistry.
• Hand-on experience of thick film processing (ink and tape preparation, three-roll milling, viscosity measurement, tape casting, screen printing, firing). low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) processing (laser punching, lamination, and cofiring).
• Deep knowledge and practice of nano materials preparation (sol-gel, wet chemical, high-energy milling, CVD, PECVD etc.), characterization, and modification (chemical and physical based).
• Ample electrochemistry background and test practice (cyclic voltammetry, potentiodynamic, potentiostatic, potential resistance etc.).
• Deeply understanding low temperature fuel cell (Direct methanol fuel cell, direct ethanol fuel cell, catalyst synthesis and characterization, bipolar material choice, electrode evaluation, cell performance characterization).
